"I had three years' worth of envelopes I had never opened properly. After two hours with Meridia, everything was sorted and labelled, and I actually understood what each one meant. Felt like a real weight lifted."

Chiang Mai, Semi-retired

"The workshop series was what I needed. Not advice — just a clear picture of how the pension side of retirement actually works administratively. The printed glossary has been genuinely useful since."

"My daughter lives overseas and I wanted her to be able to find everything if something happened to me. The Family Package gave us exactly that — a proper briefing sheet she can follow. Very calm team, very organised."

Chiang Mai, Approaching retirement

"I was a bit sceptical that a two-hour session could make much difference, but it did. The person who ran it was patient and didn't make me feel embarrassed about not knowing things I probably should have known by now."

"Good value for the peace of mind it brought. The workshop was informative without being overwhelming. I came away with a much clearer picture of what I need to have ready and who to call about what."

"My wife and I both attended the Family Package sessions. Having the briefing sheet now — something our children can actually read through — takes a worry off my mind I had been carrying for a while."

How It Went

Client Journeys

A

A retired couple, Chiang Mai

Family Briefing & Records Package

The Situation

A retired couple in their early seventies had documents from two different countries spread across multiple folders, boxes, and an old filing cabinet. Their two children, based in the UK and Australia, had little idea what was held where or what any of it related to.

What We Did

Over two visits we helped them organise all relevant documents into a clear household system, explained what each category generally represented, and produced a written briefing sheet their children could follow from overseas if ever needed.

The Outcome

Everything labelled and filed. A briefing sheet sent to both children. The couple said they felt noticeably less anxious about this side of their affairs. "We had talked about doing this for years. Having someone to sit down with us and just do it made all the difference."

Understanding the Basics Workshops

The Situation

Having worked independently for many years, she had an uneven picture of her pension entitlements. She was reluctant to engage with official processes because she did not feel she understood them well enough to ask the right questions.

What We Did

She attended the workshop series over three weeks. The sessions covered how pension documentation typically works, the general steps involved in making contact with relevant authorities, and plain-language explanations of the forms she was most likely to encounter.

The Outcome

After completing the series, she reported feeling confident enough to make her first contact with the relevant office. "The glossary alone was worth the price. I refer to it regularly."

First-Steps Organising Session

The Situation

Six months into retirement and still living out of a cardboard box of papers he had brought from his last home. He was not sure what he had, what he needed, or what he could safely put to one side.

What We Did

In a two-hour session, we helped him go through the box systematically — explaining what each document type generally was, setting aside items that needed no further attention, and organising the rest into the printed folder system with labelled sections.

The Outcome

The box was replaced by a neat, labelled folder he could open and navigate in under a minute. "I came in feeling overwhelmed and left feeling like I actually had a handle on things."
